Who runs this

yesimvegan.com is a personal, self-hosted project (Kai, "SoFMeRight"). The apps behind it run on hardware I control — not a third-party SaaS.

What I collect

• Account info — if you sign up for recipes or the wiki, that's a username and email address, plus whatever you choose to add (recipes, wiki edits).
• Contact form — when you message me, I receive your name, email, and message. The form runs through a self-hosted OpnForm instance.
• Basic logs — the site sits behind Cloudflare, which sees request data (like IP addresses) to serve and protect it. Servers keep standard access logs.

What I don't collect

No payment information — there's nothing to buy here. No advertising trackers, no selling or renting your data, no third-party analytics beyond what Cloudflare needs to run the site.

How I use it

To run your account and the services, to answer you when you get in touch, and to keep the site secure and working. That's the whole list.

Who it's shared with

Only the infrastructure that makes the site work: Cloudflare (CDN + security in front of the site) and email for replying to you. Accounts and their data live on self-hosted apps. I don't sell or hand your data to advertisers.

Cookies

Login sessions use cookies to keep you signed in, and Cloudflare may set cookies for security. No advertising cookies.

How long it's kept

Account data stays while your account exists. Contact messages are kept as long as they're useful. Logs rotate on a normal schedule.

Security

I take reasonable steps to protect the services, but no setup — self-hosted or otherwise — is perfectly secure. Use a good password.
